PEARSALL, Texas (Sept. 23, 2025) – Lyte Fiber is powering Pearsall’s future with a game-changing, $3 million investment to build a state-of-the-art, all-fiber internet network. The Texas-grown company is bringing unmatched speed, reliability, and affordability to homes and businesses across the city.
“Lyte Fiber has made a comprehensive presentation to the Pearsall City Council about their progress in providing high-speed internet to our community. They are making a large investment in bringing this service to our community and have already proven to be not just a service provider, but a community partner, said Mayor Ben Briscoe. “I anticipate a tenured relationship with Lyte Fiber and believe high-speed internet will prove to be a positive attraction for our citizens and future economic development.”
Designed with speed and durability in mind, Lyte’s network will be capable of speeds up to 10 Gbps, and features buried main lines and multiple levels of redundancy to ensure Pearsall stays connected, even when the power goes out.
Construction recently started, with first customers coming online by the end of the year. In its first phase, Lyte will connect nearly 2,800 homes and businesses, laying down approximately 44 miles of fiber throughout the city. Plans for further expansion are already in motion.
