Lyte Fiber Sponsors Palomino Fest, Strengthens Ties to Uvalde Community

UVALDE, Texas (Aug. 25, 2025) – Lyte Fiber, LLC (“Lyte”), a Texas-based provider of cutting-edge fiber internet services, will sponsor the 2025 Palomino Fest and Pro Rodeo, a three-day celebration of Uvalde’s diverse culture and musical heritage. Organized by the Uvalde Festival and Events Association, the nearly 30-year tradition runs Aug. 28-31, attracting thousands of visitors from across the state.

Since its founding in 1996 by a group of music-loving brothers, Palomino Fest has grown into a cherished regional event that reflects the power of community.

“We’re proud to support Palomino Fest and the Uvalde Festival and Events Association,” said Juli Blanda, Lyte’s general manager. “This festival embodies our values of community, local talent, and togetherness. It’s an honor to contribute to this cherished tradition.”

Building Local Connections

Lyte is also strengthening its ties to Uvalde by naming Orlando Marines as its marketing field representative for the area. Marines will serve as a vital link between Lyte and the community, promoting high-speed internet services and supporting local initiatives.

“I’m excited to join Lyte, a company that truly values our community,” Marines said. “I know what is important to the residents of Uvalde, and I look forward to demonstrating how Lyte’s services can improve their lives while supporting local events and organizations, such as Palomino Fest and the Uvalde Festival and Events Association, which make this city special.”

Marines brings a strong customer service background to his new role at Lyte. A 2014 Uvalde High School graduate, he began his career at H-E-B in Uvalde, where he advanced from customer service representative to service manager, gaining experience as an assistant department manager and curbside lead along the way.

Standing With Uvalde’s Educators

Lyte’s commitment goes beyond entertainment. The company recently sponsored the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District’s “Coyotes Unite Convocation” on July 31 to honor educators and staff as they gear up for the 2025-26 academic year.

During the event, Lyte provided a photo booth for teachers and administrators to capture joyful moments and form lasting connections. In addition, the company donated door prizes and mementos to honor the educators.

“Uvalde’s educators deserve recognition,” Blanda said. “Their inspiring work benefits us all, and Lyte is thankful for the opportunity to celebrate their contributions to our community.”
