Lyte Fiber Names Tonya McDill Regional General Manager for Southwest Texas

Telecom industry veteran brings 30 years of experience to lead Lyte Fiber’s Southwest Texas expansion from Uvalde.

UVALDE, Texas (Nov. 17, 2025) – Lyte Fiber, LLC, (“Lyte”) has appointed Tonya McDill as Regional General Manager for its Southwest Texas operations, effective Oct. 27.

In her new role, McDill oversees Lyte’s fiber-to-the-home broadband services throughout the Southwest Texas region, which is based in Uvalde. She is responsible for regional operations, customer experience, community partnerships, and market growth initiatives.

McDill brings over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry to the position, with expertise spanning operations, customer service, technical operations, and sales. A native Texan raised in Northeast Texas, she is relocating to Uvalde for this role and looks forward to becoming an active member of the community.
